The first set of photos is from a three day trip to Wakkerstroom, in Mpumalanga Province, South Africa, about 3-4 hours south of Johannesburg. It is one of the prime birding locales in South Africa, especially famous for waterfowl and larks. I was guided by Justin Rhys Nicolau, who was great and found almost all my target bird species!
