The following gallery contains pictures taken over the years in some of the "Heartland" states, mostly prairie states.  Going more or less North to South, it starts with North Dakota (and maybe 1 or 2 from Minnesota), NE Colorado, SE Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.  Some, unfortunately, are older, lower quality pics, but may be of interest.
