These photos were taken on a weekend in in Cape Ann, MA, in October 2019.  It was windy and rainy much of the time, and huge swells pounded the shore, creating amazing explosions of waves.  A bit of sunshine and spectacular sunsets interrupted the otherwise stormy weekend.  See also the following videos on YouTube:
