This part of the trip covers the area around Anchorage, and a trip down the Kenai Peninsula to Seward.  From Seward, on one day we took a boat trip into Kenai Fjords National Park, which is a spectacular experience.  Most of the photos in this gallery were taken when I was with a birding tour with Victor Emanuel Nature Tours (VENT).  The focus was birds, but we saw many amazing animals as well, and stunning scenery everywhere we went - even in the city of Anchorage.
